The crazy thing about these Spanish turron cookies, is that they taste exactly like the famous Spanish Almond nougat. We´re talking roasted almonds and honey flavored cookies. Hello Yuminess 🙂 . We´re not compromising any flavor in these cookies just because they´re easy to make.

Like I said before, to make these Spanish turron cookies, you don´t need any special baking equipment and no special baking skills. Just 7 simple ingredients you probably already have in your pantry and a standard bowl.

TIPS & TRICKS to make this recipe: Make sure you use parchment paper when you add the cookie dough into the baking tray. Otherwise the cookies will stick and they will fall apart. It took me 6 to 8 minutes to bake my cookies, but every oven heats differently. Just make sure they don´t burn in the bottom and they cook all the way through. Stick a toothpick inside one of the cookies, if it comes out cleanly they are done.

Always had a Christmas time when we lived in Spain before coming out to Australia. Its my favourite sweet of all time. Recently i found a couple of people who sell turron but you have to be quick as they sell fast. Do you have a recipe for actual turron.

Very easy to make, and delicious! I made twice the recipe, because I wanted more than 9 cookies. But the recipe, if you use tablespoons-full of dough, will yield more than 9 cookies! The doubled recipe made about 40 cookies!
